Explore Tree Town Cafe

Tree Town Cafe, located on Chao Anou Road in Vientiane, Laos, is a cozy spot that immediately catches the eye with its seasonal, thoughtfully updated decor. The café has become particularly popular for its bingsu offerings, with flavors like Salted Egg, Thai Tea, Mango, and Green Tea consistently earning high praise from visitors. Each serving is carefully crafted, balancing sweetness and texture in a way that stands out even among other dessert cafés in the area. Beyond the bingsu, the café offers a range of smoothie bowls, such as the Thai Tea smoothie bowl, which pairs well with their selection of teas priced around 45,000-87,000 LAK. Coffee lovers will find options like iced Americanos, though some note a slightly bitter or burnt taste reminiscent of café chains like Cafe Amazon.

The café also experiments with unique beverages, including a café latte adorned with cotton candy, which adds a playful touch to the presentation and flavor. While non-dessert items such as carbonara or savory toasts may lean toward average in comparison, the effort in presentation and menu variety gives diners a range of options to explore. Seating on the second floor includes comfy beanbags, making it a relaxed environment to enjoy a leisurely visit or catch up with friends. Visitors often comment on the friendly and welcoming staff, who contribute to a warm, approachable atmosphere.

Tree Town Cafe’s charm comes not just from the menu, but also from its inviting ambiance. The café’s playful, colorful aesthetic and small touches in décor create an environment that encourages lingering, whether you’re indulging in a bingsu, sipping on a smoothie bowl, or just enjoying a quiet coffee break. For those looking to explore desserts beyond the usual offerings, or seeking a cozy café experience in Vientiane, Tree Town Cafe provides both creativity in presentation and a comfortable, casual atmosphere that keeps guests coming back.

Best Bingsus in town. But other menu items are kind of average. Bingsu Score (out of 5): Salted Eggs 4.9 Thai Tea 4.7 Mango 4.5 Green Tea 4.2 The store decorations are interesting, and is updated seasonally. Non-dessert (savory) items average. Iced Americano (my coffee of choice) tasted some what bitter / burnt, similar to Cafe Amazon. They do serve many blended sugary concoctions, I tried a sip or two and they were mostly too sweet for me. Have not tried their toasts. Bingsus are really good though!

a cozy cafe with really nice decor. visited for toast, but unfortunately, that menus was not available on that day. carbonara was just ok for my kids, and strawberry smoodie bowl was good. cafe latte decorated with cotton candy was really unique and delicious. Greentea bingsu was the best i've had recently! there're comfy beanbags on the second floor. very friendly staff! would come back here again. highly recommended.

Popped into one of my long-time favorite coffee shops today (it's been over 5 years or more!) and as always, wasn't disappointed! Yeng Kong and I had some delicious food, and my cafe latte even came with a whimsical cotton candy cloud! Seriously impressed with the reasonable prices compared to other cafes, and the calm, peaceful vibe is perfect (probably thanks to its little soi hideaway). Calling all "social media desperados" - this place is photo heaven with its adorable decor and countless cute corners! The staff were even super sweet and helped us snap some pics. Lovely cafe, great food, and extraordinarily friendly staff - a real gem!

Visit this place every time I’m in Vientiane. Just look at it. They do Bingsu now and it’s great and amazing value. Mind you that only the white coffees come with the cotton candy, but when I asked the extremely friendly staff made me a mega one anyway. I’m not much of an instagrammer but I’d say this place is worthy wouldnt you?

Super nice place. Great food, drinks, and really great atmosphere. Upstairs there's nice comfy cushions. The drinks are very over the top but actually delicious. If you wanna feed that Instagram this is the place where it seems everyone goes for those pics. Prices are not cheap but certainly not expensive, pretty average. Had a smoothie bowl which was pretty bomb and the Perl milk tea which was nice as well. Really good spot to have a relaxed environment with friends
